Today is busy in ED just like everyday practice but I had diagnosed 2 cases of diverticulitis by history, physical examination and ED echo, later confirmed by Abd CT scan. 62F and 57M complained of RLQ pain for 2-3 days with no fever, no vomiting, diarrhea 1-2X , no loss of appetite. Due to persisted abd pain especially on deep palpation, they came to our ED. PE showed localized RLQ pain with rebound pain and muscle guarding but ED echo showed only bowel wall thickening and no tubular structure seen. Clinically diverticulitis is suspected, so an abd CT had arranged and confirmed the diagnosis.
